  • Position Summary

     

    Under general supervision, perform a broad range of client service functions, following established policies and procedures. Open and maintain accounts, process transactions and sell Bank products and services. Respond to questions and/or provide information upon request from clients (internal and external) and prospects. Assist clients in understanding and utilizing Bank products and services and help convert prospects into clients. Accurately and efficiently manage a cash drawer daily.

    Essential Functions

    Represent the Bank to clients, prospects and guests in person, by telephone or by email in a courteous, professional manner.

    • Greet and provide exceptional service in person and by telephone/email.

    • Provide accurate information regarding Bank services, products, policies and procedures.

    • Open new accounts and provides information to new and prospective clients by explaining and cross-selling Bank products and services.

    • Complete forms and other required documents and follow Bank policies and procedures.

    • Process transactions in person and via telephone/email to include loan payments, account transfers, and address changes.

    • Perform all duties of a Teller.

    • Demonstrate ANC’s core values: Innovation, Integrity, Efficiency, Tailored Service and Opportunity.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

     

    High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

    • Minimum two (2) years' experience in a client service and/or a cross-trained teller position in a financial institution.

    • Excellent math ability and attention to detail.

    • PC proficient including Microsoft Office.

    • Extensive telephone work involved.

    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to learn and sell bank products and services.

    • Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment and utilize standard office equipment.

    • Team player with high initiative and integrity.

    • Knowledge of banking regulations and requirements including BSA, CIP and information security.

    • Some local travel required.
