  • Position Summary

     

    This position works with the Senior IT Administrator. The position is responsible for associate support and project support for a commercial bank and its mortgage subsidiary supporting 250+ users. Must be familiar with maintaining client server networks, Citrix servers, network connection devices, and security appliances. Will work directly with associates to solve their Information Technology related issues. In addition, this position will assist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of network systems.

    System administration duties to include configuration of ANC’s tape backup system, email archiving system and event log monitoring are included. Other duties will be assigned as associates knowledge of ANC’s systems grow.

     

    Essential Functions

     

     

    • Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN, network segments, and internet. Provides end users support for all LAN- based applications. Installs and configures workstations.
    • Provides user support including but not limited to troubleshooting and technical support for PCs and peripherals; escalating to outsourced service company (NetEx) where necessary.
    • Administers servers, desktops computers, printers, switches, and security devices.
    • Handles routine monitoring and maintenance of servers and virtual machines
    • Responsible for various activities under disaster recovery plan including monitoring, testing, and business resumption tasks.
    • Other Duties as Assigned
    • Handles escalation call from desktop support associates if needed
    • Troubleshoots problems reported by associates
    • Maintain network and system security
    • Creation/maintenance/editing of user accounts
    • Assist management in launching new technologies and special projects.
    • Application administration and configuration
    • Monitor, configure and maintain network backups, email archiver, and NAC device
    • Monitor event logs of critical systems and research reoccurring errors for resolution.

      Other duties as assigned.

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    •     Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience.
    •  Minimum of 4 years’ experience in information technology with focus on support.
    •  Excellent customer service and follow through skills.
    •  Ability to work effectively on a team in high-pressure situations.
    •  Knowledge of Windows 7, MS Office, LAN networking, and software installation required.
    •  Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix Presentation Server, VMware, and remote software installation technologies required.
    •  Experience with mortgage and banking industry software a plus.
    •  Good planning and organizational skills.
    •  Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    •  Demonstrated technical expertise and troubleshooting skills - both hardware and software to support end-users.
    •  Field maintenance/implementation and/or troubleshooting experience.
