Position Summary

Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures performs a broad-range of teller service functions. Including processing transactions, selling bank products and services. Responds to questions and/or provides information upon request from customers (internal and external). Processes requests/transactions, as appropriate. Assist customers and potential customers in understanding and utilizing bank products and services. Accurately and efficiently manages a cash drawer daily.

Essential Functions

  • Provides a complete range of client services at the Bank, including opening new accounts, explaining available Bank products and services, and gathering client information to process new and existing accounts
  • Assists clients in meeting their financial needs by engaging in conversation, identifying opportunities and recommending appropriate solutions.
  • Maintains an in depth knowledge of all retail products and services in order to educate clients and tailor suggestions to the individual.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to maximize referral opportunities and achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Provides exceptional service through every interaction and partners with retail team members to resolve client issues, answer inquiries in a timely manner and ensure that all needs are being met.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by actively participating in team meetings, contributing ideas and suggestions, assisting other team members when needed and volunteering for assignments.
  • Regularly participates in community and bank sponsored events.
  • Adheres to the highest ethical standards and all applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements in order to maintain the valued trust of our clients and community.
  • Works with retail management to continuously develop job knowledge and professional skills in order to grow successfully within the position or the organization.


  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification required.
  • 2+ years of customer service/client interaction experience required.
  • 1+ years sales experience preferred
  • Experience achieving individual or team goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences and to tailor service solutions to customers with differing needs.
  • Strong focus on client service, the ability to make connections, engage and educate clients, and to be positive, courteous and professional in all client and team member interactions.
  • Ability to proactively collaborate with others to provide exceptional client service.
  • Ability to adhere to established attendance guidelines and to work any required hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Detail oriented, organized and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to all applicable policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply, however this is not a requirement for the position.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • As needed, assists with Client Service Representative I duties including accurately and efficiently processes bank transactions within established policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned.
