Supports the growing number of associates employed by Access National Corporation and it’s subsidiaries. Will work directly with associates to solve their Information Technology related issues. This position will also include limited system administration duties. Responsibilities for administration and configuration of ANC’s tape backup system, email archiving system and event log monitoring are included. Other duties will be assigned as associates knowledge of ANC’s systems grow. ssist in the installation, maintenance, and general support of computer systems.

Essential Functions

  • Monitor the Helpdesk ticket queue and resolve assigned tickets
  • Assist end users with questions or problems
  • Daily software, application and hardware support
  • On-site troubleshooting for end users
  • Creation/maintenance/editing of user accounts
  • Assist management in launching new technologies and special projects.
  • Assist in day to day support duties
  • Monitor, configure and maintain network backups
  • Monitor, configure and maintain email archiving solution
  • Assist in ongoing application administration and configuration
  • Monitor event logs of critical systems and research reoccurring errors for resolutions


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in information technology with focus on support.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and follow through skills at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and above, MS Office, LAN networking, and software installation required.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Citrix Presentation Server, and remote software installation technologies required.
  • Experience with mortgage and banking industry software a plus.
  • Good planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
