Manages relationship portfolio through client interaction.
Meet with prospective clients to discuss needs and assist them in completion of necessary paperwork that is required.
Receive and process applications for various types of loans.
Render credit decisions on pending applications.
Complete all necessary worksheets and other internal paperwork required to book loan properly providing superior loan documentation and administration.
Manage loan portfolio to meet required goals of less than 1% past due percentage on average.
Exceed loan growth and fee income goals as set by immediate supervisor.
Expand client relationships through business lines and involvement in community organizations and activity.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Manage problem loans by working with clients, attorneys and staff to maximize return of funds to the Bank.
Proactive client business development efforts to include phone calls, face-to-face interaction and referrals to other lines of business.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending as well as overall community banking.
Thorough understanding of loan documentation criteria and business objectives for the commercial loan department.
Excellent communication, management, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Solid knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Proven organizational and public relation skills.
Understanding of cash management and bank products/services.
