Position Summary

Manages relationship portfolio through client interaction.

Essential Functions

  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss needs and assist them in completion of necessary paperwork that is required.
  • Receive and process applications for various types of loans.
  • Render credit decisions on pending applications.
  • Complete all necessary worksheets and other internal paperwork required to book loan properly providing superior loan documentation and administration.
  • Manage loan portfolio to meet required goals of less than 1% past due percentage on average.
  • Exceed loan growth and fee income goals as set by immediate supervisor.
  • Expand client relationships through business lines and involvement in community organizations and activity.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Manage problem loans by working with clients, attorneys and staff to maximize return of funds to the Bank.
  • Proactive client business development efforts to include phone calls, face-to-face interaction and referrals to other lines of business. 




  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of consumer and commercial lending as well as overall community banking.
  • Thorough understanding of loan documentation criteria and business objectives for the commercial loan department.
  • Excellent communication, management, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and public relation skills.
  • Understanding of cash management and bank products/services.
