With limited supervision, originate and manage new and existing lending relationships. Market deposit products to clients.
Essential Functions
Call on potential clients to develop new loan and deposit business and retain or increase existing business relationships.
Interview prospective clients to assess their financial needs and structure proper solutions.
Analyze loan requests, propose loan structures with appropriate pricing within the Bank’s guidelines, and take them through the approval and closing processes.
Manage existing relationships including identifying cross-sell opportunities, and assessing and managing changes in the financial condition of Borrowers.
Represent the Bank at various civic and professional organizations in an effort to present the Bank’s image and develop prospective clients.
Qualifications
College degree with a major in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related field.
At least 5 years commercial lending experience.
Must possess a working knowledge of accounting principals and financial analysis.
Must have familiarity with loan documentation.
Must possess a strong working knowledge of bank regulations.
Must exhibit proven sales ability.
Must have the ability to work independently.
Excellent math ability and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
