Position Summary

With limited supervision, originate and manage new and existing lending relationships. Market deposit products to clients.

Essential Functions

  • Call on potential clients to develop new loan and deposit business and retain or increase existing business relationships.
  • Interview prospective clients to assess their financial needs and structure proper solutions.
  • Analyze loan requests, propose loan structures with appropriate pricing within the Bank’s guidelines, and take them through the approval and closing processes.
  • Manage existing relationships including identifying cross-sell opportunities, and assessing and managing changes in the financial condition of Borrowers.
  • Represent the Bank at various civic and professional organizations in an effort to present the Bank’s image and develop prospective clients.

Qualifications

  • College degree with a major in Business, Economics, Finance, or other related field.
  • At least 5 years commercial lending experience.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of accounting principals and financial analysis.
  • Must have familiarity with loan documentation.
  • Must possess a strong working knowledge of bank regulations.
  • Must exhibit proven sales ability.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent math ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
